Bruce's Story
Life
After graduating from HS, I went to SUNY Oswego to be a Industrial Arts teacher. I was an average student with a talent for making wooden furniture.
I can thank Mr. Goetsch my HS woodshop teacher for really doing his job and making me the best I could be.
I did my student teaching in Newburgh NY, where I got a job as a shop teacher.
I found that I was much more well rounded in my education than I thought, as I taught in a comprehensive HS with many different vocational programs. I taught in all of ...Expand for more
these programs except 1, printing. I spent my last 7 years teaching CAD.
and repairing computer equipment, a hobby I still enjoy. I have retired from teaching for 7 years and have persude my 1st love in woodworking and fixing things. I have my own small business. I enjoy people and talking to them on various subjects. I've been very fortunate in that I'm still married after 35 years and have two adult kids both with a college degree.
WHEN WILL WE HAVE A REUNION?? IT'S BEEN 40 YEARS. NO ONE LIVES FOREVER!
