Bruce's Story
Life
After graduating in 1965, I attended & graduated from Butler U in Indianapolis in 1970 with a pharmacy degree. I worked for an independent Rexall pharmacy in Lawrenceville,Illinois(Jay Shidler's hometown for us "Big Blue" basketball fans) until 1972 when Uncle Sam intervened.
I served 3 years in the US Army as a pharmacist, the highlight being a 14 month tour of duty in Heidelberg, Germany. Upon discharge in 1975, I began work with Walgreens ...Expand for more
in Louisville. I was employed by Walgreens for 33 years,having worked at 4 store locations. I retired from Walgreens in May, 2008 from the store at 4th & Winkler, near Churchill Downs.
In my leisure time, I enjoy photography & travelling. I especially enjoy travelling to cities where I can pursue a lifelong passion of following Major League Baseball.
It looks like a good 50th Westport reunion is being planned as I write this & I hope to attend
