Bruce's Story
Life
Married. daughter and son. Three granddaughters, 3 grandsons. After high school enrolled in Pierce College but left after 1 semester when I got my draft notice and joined the Navy. After my service time I moved to Seattle and attended the University of Washington, then went to work for the National Weather Service. Moved to Wyoming for 4 years then Omaha Nebraska, then Texas for 10 years and finally returned to Ocean Shores, WA . Received my undergraduate degrees in Physical Science and Atmospheric Science with a minor in Theology from Creighton University. Graduate work was in Atmospheric Science and photography with an emphasis in Forensic Meteorology.

t with the National Weather Service until I retired in 2004. I started "StormExtremes" in 2000, a meteorological forensic company providing Weather Theme Seminars to schools, colleges and universities around the country having conducted over 1200 seminars to date. Closed the company and retired for real in 2010 and moved to Ocean Shores, WA. Beach is only 2 blocks away and Westport (a hot surfing spot) is right across the harbor. I am now into the Arts with Photography and Wood Working earning several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards from various art shows from Nebraska to Texas. Update: June 2017 bought an RV, sold the house and the misses and I are traveling the country full time. We are currently in Florida enjoying the salt life...
