Bruce's Story
For those of you who may have read the previous story posted here and went, "Huh?" you are not alone. I suspect what used to be here was computer generated crapola from random Google searches designed by the geniuses at Classmates. So let's fix this.
Bruce is from Northlake, Illinois, married with two sons. I've worked in Indianapolis TV news since 1983, with stops in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Evansville, Indiana after graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I attended Triotn College for a couple years before transferring to SIU.
I'm still a diehard Cubs fan, have enjoyed watching the Blackhawks win Stanley Cups over the years, and have had my loyalty swayed to the Colts from the Bears shortly after the '85 Super Bowl. I even got called out in 2006 on Channel 5 News in Chicago by their mo...Expand for more

I've dealt with years of morning news related sleep deprivation with countless rounds of golf and chasing my sons thru years of travel soccer.
I've had the chance to interview and meet extraordinary newsmakers along the way, including Barack Obama, Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush, and dozens of public figures, celebrities, Hollywood types and professional athletes. My favorite though was meeting Harry Caray at his restaurant and at a news conference long ago in Indianapolis. The spirit of Harry lives on forever.
I don't get to visit the old stomping grounds as much as I like, but I try to make it back for a Cubs game or when Manchester United makes a visit to Soldier Field. Hope to see many of you at the Class of '76 reunion in Sept. 2016!
