Bryan's Story

Life Hi all, living and working in Denver Colorado since 2001 and barring anything unforseen we plan on staying here indefinetly. Was living in Kansas City Missouri before that which was close to where I finished college. Did my time with Uncle Sam in the army and the first Gulf War. Don't have much family left in Florida, we've all scattered all over the place but still have good memories of Ft. Lauderdale. On to the fun stuff! I've been singing since I was a kid so after the army I hooked up with my first rock band in college. Since then I have been singing with many different projects and actually have some recorded material. I'm currently with a hard rock/metal band in Denver called Sineater. I'm also looking at doing commerical sound track stuff etc. Have a great hook up in my vocal coach (Scott Martin-founder and director of the Denver Academy of the Arts) who helps me get plugged in where my talents are the most usable. Thanks Scott! Stay tuned, Sineater is currently recording a full length demo which we plan to have out in a month or so. We have our own website domain Sineaterband.com so feel free to check it out. It's currently under construction so for the time being you can go to myspace/sineaterband and see our amateur stuff there. Songs will also be for sale individually and as a group ala itunes on the site. Hope you enjoy, Rock on! School I have great memories from school and had a great time overall through the whole process. I attended Westminster Academy from grade school through middle school. ...Expand for more
I then changed schools to Northeast High in Oakland Pk. and had a blast during high school. From there my family moved to Colorado and I enlisted in the army. After I was discharged I attended Missouri Western State University in a small, SMALL! town named St. Joseph which is about a half hour north of Kansas City (the way I drive that is). I graduated in '96 with a B.S. (how appropriate for those who know me) in communications. I may consider a masters degree once I have some time to myself again. Workplace After college I decided for lack of anything inspirational to do, to try management. I managed a video store for a while and that turned out to be pretty boring. This was late '96 which convieniently was about the same time cops became pretty big in the television rotation. I watched some episodes and thought "that looks entertaining" and within a year was working in the 'hood in Kansas City Missouri. Talk about a great time, if you like being an adrenaline junkie then get into this profession in a large city. While I will be posting my photo on the website here, my job is the reason you won't see any of my family (for obvious reasons) no matter how proud of them I am. After moving to Colorado I changed department and am now a recently promtoed sergeant at the Aurora Police Dept. We are the third largest dept. in the state but in 10 years or so will be the biggest due to expansion. Our third is on the way now and we will be expecting round January sometime so I'll fill in that stuff as it becomes applicable.
