Bryan's Story
I was in the 50th armored division at Camp Johnson Vermont Army National Guard from September 1970 - September 1973.
I Quit School In 1971 To Go Through Army Basic Training And Advanced Individual Training As a Recovery Vehicle Specialist Track And Wheeled Vehicles, FT DIX NJ Then ABERDEEN PROVING GROUNDS MD.
Went Back And Finished My last 2 years In one In Order To Graduate With The Class Of 1972
I Joined The Army In September !973, I Went Straight To Erlangen Germany Where I Was Stationed For My First 7 Years, And Where I met My Beautiful Wife Margit. I Was Stationed At FT Stewart GA Then Back To Germany For Another 3 Years. Whole 10th Mountain Division Start Up.
I Left The Army After 15 Years On An Honorable Medical Discharge, Not A Retirement.. I Then Worked As a Department Of Defense Civilian From 1990 - 2011 As A GS-9/10 System And Database Administrator For The Army Maintenance Management Systems, And I Also Went Back To School During This period.
1). AS Degree In Computer Information Science Graduated 1997
2). AA Degree In Humanities And Social Sciences Graduated 1997.
3) 4 Year FT DRUM Leader Program Leader Development. Graduated 2007.
4) I Completed Over 200 Hours Of various Computer Courses In:
UNIX, ORACLE, Windows,Windows XT, Windows Vista, And Some Other Computer programing Courses.
I Retired From My Joint Military And Civilian Service may 31 2011. Service Including National Guard Was A Little Over 40 Years.
