C.W. "Butchie" Olmstead: ('Charles William' when i was in dutch with my mom!) Born in Birmgham, Alabama 9-4-47, ( I'm 67 ) Raise in a U.S. Army family of 27 years. I am now living back in Lompoc, California where i went to highschool. I'm a blues musician- on blues-harp ( harmonica) player having worked and played in various blues groups since 1969. ies" DJ, my last gig at "Rock-it Radio" Ventura, CA- on their internet radio broadcast at rockitradio.net - "Butchie Boys Doo-wop Diner" & "The Cotton Sturdy Blues Hour" from 2003 to 2008. . Served for 5 years in the United States Army, and was posted with the 11th Armored Cavalry "Blackhorse" Regiment in Vietnam in 1967 until wounded and returned home.
