I have found that life has been a great experience.
I completed high school in 1956 and graduated in 1960 from Earlham College.After Virginia completed college in 1961, we were married and lived in eastern Kentucky where I finished a two year contract to drive a bookmobile servicing 42 one and two room schools in the county. rea for three years before returning to the South Pacific in 1970 where I taught chemistry, physics and advanced math at the LDS church school in Western Samoa. After three years there I returned to the mainland to teach in Washington, Utah and Idaho until 2000 when I retired after 34 years of teaching. I was selected teacher of the year in two school districts and was selected by the Secondary Science Teachers of the 5th district in the state of Idaho as Teacher of the year. I was given an award by Golden Spike National Historic Site for the years I volunteered as a archaeological surveyor. We have four wonderful children, each with a profession and 19 (2012) grandchildren.
My wife and I served a mission of 18 months for our church in 2006 in Bilbao, Spain.".
