NOW, A GREAT SALT LAKE GEEZER.
THEN, A GEEKY ATHLETE TEEZER!
* What more can I say? I was that spazzy, trumpet-playing, slide rule-carrying grappler, trackster AND cross-countster who terrorized the Physics, Chemistry and English teachers, but none of their studentistas during my brief foray in Valley Forge from '65 to '69.
* Like a few others during the Jay-Cee daze, I too was stationed at "Fort William Bradfield." BUT, them days are long past.
* Here's my true (truly censored) saga, post-1969:
>> 2 years at B.Y.U. (Utah) doing Chemistry, Track, Cross-Country and Cult-ology.
>> 2 summers in Puerto Rico plus 1 in Chicago after my parents moved from K of P.
>> 2 years in Ecuador as a Mormon missionary. (Am no longer either mormonic or god-fearing. Only Goddesses rule me, what with their beauty, grace, wisdom, and welcome maturity.)
>> I then returned, to B.A. in Chicago. Thence to Palo Alto for 3 fun-filled years of sunny, stunning, tan-worthy Stanford Law School. (During all of which I met my wife and had my first son, both in Chicago.)
>> Left California, with ...Expand for more
a J.D. and my family, for Washington, D.C. In that beautiful city my lovely (and only) daughter was born. Did legal work at HEW, which then became HHS, which then became (in part) the Department of Education.
>> Later moved to Utah (formerly known as "Deseret"). Did more legal work as co-counsel to the University of Utah and in the Utah Attorney General's Office. (Also adjuncted at the U of U law school and volunteered in the community with the ACLU, La Raza and THE Political Party.)
>> Divorced, sadly. Moved to Los Angeles. Did MORE legal work, as full-time law professor. Later, returned to Utah. Even later, ex-wife had #2 son, so I stayed. Since mid-90's, have labored mostly for hard-rock, mineral resource companies in Utah.
>> Third son was born shortly after the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. More has happened ... but its boring.
>> Today, who knows? I've moved around in Utah several times. Have visited the Philadelphia area 3 or 4 times since leaving, but missed the 20-year reunion. Looks like there is no 40th.
