One of Cade's favorite quotes is:"Cade McCown System of Fours III. Action Analysis A. What is your main objective in this scene? How does it relate to your through-line in the play? My main objective in the scene is to show a little of myself besides what is seen on the outside. It relates to the through-line because as the play progresses I share things with Alice and Julie I never really told anyone. B. Trace each choice you make in this scene. Asks for water, apologizes, expresses how this hasn’t happened, asks them not to tell, expresses how he doesn’t cry, reluctantly explains some of his past, claims to not have a sexual problem, expresses confusion about the situation he is in, wants clarification for why they are talking about rape, condescendingly shows how it’s a dumb idea, tells how he doesn’t get a sexy thought for a while. 1. What is the stimulus for each? Doesn’t want to piss off Julie, tries to calm the situation down, doesn’t want to be embarrassed, doesn’t want rumors to be spread around, shows how tough he is, secretly wants to tell someone of his past, wants to show he is good sexually, wants to know why he is tied up, wants to figure out why they keep trying to arouse him, really wants to go so he tries to show how stupid they are for trying to rape him, was a last resort effort to get them to let him go. 2. Is each automatic or deliberate? For the most part automat...Expand for more

Whether or not I should tell Alice and Julie why it was I cried because I don’t show or share my sensitive side very often and my dad influenced my actions a lot in my life. It relates to my crucial choice in the play because later on I decide to really open up to Alice and Julie which I hardly ever do. D. What sub-text is at work in your choices? I believe that there is a yearning to express myself you can especially see that after I share how my dad broke my nose with a mitt, after that line there is a beat which shows tension and in my opinion a want and/or need to share these suppressed memories and emotions. IV. Character Analysis: (create appropriate information) A. What are the physical traits that influence your action? From just a general overview from the play I say Eddie is a fairly attractive slightly muscular man that pretty much gets what he wants in life as far as situational circumstances but he isn’t where he wants to be in life. 1. Those specified by the playwright; What I got from the playwright is that he is a pizza man and he used to be in the military 2. Those reported by other characters; Throughout the play Alice and Julie make several references to Eddie’s face which tells me the main attraction is his facial qualities. 3. Those which can be inferred from the ac".
