Calvin's Story
Life
I was Born in Columbia S.C., lived in Atlantic City, stated school in Pittsburgh Penn.,moved back to S.C. for the 3rd 4th and 5th grades,started the 6th grade near Detroit before moving to Washington D.C. where I attended Smothers before doing the 7th 8th and ninth grades at Woodson Jr. High, and then attended Spingarn where I graduated in 1963 and joined the U.S.Air Force from which, in 1967 I was Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sargent and Aircraft Mechnic. I was stationend at Plattsburgh Air Force Base in 1964 and 1965, which is 60 miles south of Montreal, and was sent behind the lines in South East Asia in Direct Support of opperations in Veit Nam. moved to Montreal where I was immediately hired by Air Canada where I worked for 35 years before taking a full early retirement in 2003. Many things happened during those years,including a marrage in 1982 and two children. The youngest died with Lukemia when he was 5, before my wife joinened him six years later in 1998. Focusing on raising my daughter , the years seem to have sliped away without me noticing how little I had been dating. But I plan to change that now that she is in Universty, because I still have the same Travel Previleges I earned with Air Canada, and among other things, I'll be visiting my Mother and the rest of our Family in Washington D.C. more often.
