Calvin's Story

I left Eugene in about 1983 moving to Santa Rosa, CA, were I went to work for the Oakland Raiders football team and met my wife of 26 years Marti who was from the Eugene,Springfield area, her maiden name was Marcia Hegstead.In 1995 we moved to Warroad, MN, 5 miles off the Canadian border and -40 degrees in the winter. Spent 2 years there before returning to CA. Between us we have three children, my son Calvin III who lives in Salem,OR, Marti's son Darin who's married to a great German girl and our first grand baby Logan, who I call moose Then Michele who is married to Peter and has our two step grand ch...Expand for more
ildren.In 2003 we sold our house and moved to Phoenix, AZ. We loved it there but! after 3 years the grand baby came along and Marti needed to be closer to him so once again we sold our house and moved moved to Sugar Hill, GA just 45 miles north of Atlanta and bought a place. after 2 years when the resesion hit and I lost my job so once again we moved this time to Jacksonville, FL and maybe the last move, but I wont count on it. Well that's the highlights after high school. 3/31/2015 Update Stayed 3 years in Florida. Moved back to Buford GA for about 3 years. I am now back in AZ living in Mesa. I love it!

Getting ready to go out for a walk . It's not as cold as Minnesota. It is however very cold for Georgia. I think it was about 16 degrees. Way too cold for me.
