Calvin's Story
After Graduating, I served in the US Army. Upon discharge, I settled in San Francisco, Ca., married and had 2 children. Shortly after moving to San Jose I discovered that I had Glaucoma and was going blind. Within several years, I was totally blind and my wife decided she did not want to be married to a blind guy. I remained in the marriage until the children were grown and independent. I returned to school and got a degree...Expand for more
in Computer Science, and worked for Johnson Controls in Milwaukee as a Programmer/Analyst.
I later fulfilled a dream by owning 2 successfull restaurants in Waukesha and Madison. After retiring, I did a internship as a Chaplain and since then have been serving the community i.e. disadvantaged youth. I am finally at peace with my life but I have a lot of life left. The past is full of questions and the future is full of hope.
