Since finishing Carolina in December, 1977, I moved to Minneapolis, MN. I managed roller skating centers for 3 years there, then on to Phoenix, AZ to operate a center there for awhile. Deciding I didn't like the desert, I moved back to Minneapolis in 1980. While in AZ, I became engaged to my wife, whom I met shortly after coming to MN from school. We were married in January of 1982, and moved to the Washington D.C. area the next year. I operated a skating center in Gaithersburg MD for the next 5 years, then sold cars there for three more. My first child, daughter Katy, was born in 1989, and in 1990 we moved back to MN. I managed car dealerships for the next 5 years. My other child, Michael, was born in 1993. In 1996, I went into the new home construction business. I "suped" several sites for the next 3 years. In 2000, I went back to managing car dealers again. This lasted until this past fall, when I finally had enough of that business and quit. I've been out of work since then, but haven't minded. I realize I do have a family, and they're pretty neat! I doing great now, watching hoops and hockey and trying to stay warm! I'm not sure why anyone chooses to live in MN. The older I get, the more I hate these winters!
