Life
These websites are a great way to realize that even though we all take our own courses
in our lives, we can all come here for a
pleasant point of contact and reflect back
through the years.
I am really looking forward to our 30-year reunion in a couple of months.
I noticed that a few of my former classmates are born again Christians and I really praise the Lord for this; must be because we grew up during the Jesus Movement.
I am currently not married, but have a great guy in my life. I am an adult child of an alcoholic and I ended up getting involved in some pretty bad relationship situations in the past, but I know God had his hand on me and delivered me from the whole ugly mess.
My two children suffered greatly, but I hope that they do not repeat the same pattern I did.
Now, for a recent update, dated July 20th, 2005. I have been married for almost three years to the great guy I mentioned above. We have adopted a boy who is now nine, have a foster son who is now six, and also have an infant with us in foster care. Life is pretty busy for me. I also have five ...Expand for more
grandchildren and stay in constant contact with my biological adult children, who are now 25 and 29 years old.
We presently still reside in Henderson, Nevada, but next spring, plan a move up to Portland, Oregon. I love the outdoors, hiking, bicycling, fresh air, and beautifuly scenery. The Northwest inspires my sense of adventure and I am looking forward to it.
We now reside up in Hillsboro, Oregon, which was a great move for us. The weather is so much nicer than the Las Vegas area in Nevada was and everything is green and fresh here. I am so blessed to be here and I am involved with a wonderful church nearby. I am still very health-conscious, want to do some volunteer work at a nature reserve as I love nature and the outdoors. Workplace
I no longer am employed, but, I am a stay-at-home mom. I retired from Alamo National Car Rental over three years ago. My boys are now ages 22 months, 7 years, and 10 years and they keep me quite busy. I am going to be involved with a couple of home businesses in the next few months, so I will be training for these soon.
