Camille's Story
Heres' some interesting facts about me:
I made my first national debut at the age of two in National Geographic. I was selected to collect audio on the National Mall for the Grand Opening of the National Museum of the American Indian.
I always wanted to be a nurse working in the ER when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My favorite way to relax use to be smoke cigrarrettes. Now I just vent. watch out!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have lots of coffee, access to the internet radio, and a phone to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The craziest thing I did at North was join Spikettes and watch the cross country team run while I smo...Expand for more
ked cigrarrettes with some of the other Spikettes. I had a huge crush on one of the runners...and to this day, he still makes me heart pound.
I left North High because my art teachers Mrs. Frogge and Mrs. Watkins encouraged me to apply to art school. I did, I went to the Institute of American Indian Arts school in 77 & 78. I should have been more serious about art, but I was more interested in the party life.
There were so many influences on my life at North and IAIA. I couldn't pick one person I'd like to see again because there are so many.
My friends think I should be a fullt-ime artist, but I create in a totally different way. So that makes me happy. One day, I will have art show at the Heard Museum.
