Going backwards; As of this day, my husband Robert has just came home from the hospital after a 5 week stay. He has metastasized prostrate cancer. He had prostrate cancer in 2000, and had radiation seeds implanted in his prostrate which killed off the cancer. But now we are dealing with the stray cells. The cancer destroyed his T2 and T3 vertebrae. He was lucky he was not paralyzed. They took out the vertebrates and inserted a titanium cage to support the spine. He starts radiation on June 23. This is not a curable cancer and it is very aggressive. I am now a third year teacher. The last two years I taught kindergarten and this year I will teach three year olds. I am a certified Texas teacher and a Montessori trained teacher. I teach in a Charter School, with children at risk.
