Candace's Story
I'm afraid it's been years since I've been to Laredo. Harriett Dickey has been my only contact for many years. I am divorced and have been for many years. I married a man stationed at the Air Base and we traveled all over the world. I've lived in Turkey. Germany and several States. Settled back in Texas (NE TX). Last year I retired and my son and daughter-in-law asked me to move out to CA to live with them. Which is why I am now living in So CA. I have two children, a son and a daughter. Jimmie lives in CA and Tammy lives in FL. I have 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren! This includes step great grandchildren. My oldest grandson has been deployed for a second time and leaves for Iraq next month. Please pray for an end to this war and the safe retur...Expand for more
n of our children. If you remember me you'll remember my twin sister, Sandy. Sadly she passed away 3 years ago on Good Friday. A year later Mother passed away on New Years Eve followed by my sister Sharon's death only 5 weeks later just before Valentines Day. So it's been a pretty rough few years. Perhaps that's why reconnecting with the past is so important. I hope you will take a few minutes and let me know how you're doing.
I love reality tv. The Amazing Race is my favorite followed closely by Celebrity Apprentice. Football, baseball and most recently NASCAR keep me watching television.
My best friend would tell you I'm very funny and loud, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as very quiet.
