Candace's Story
After graduation, I went to UCSC. In my junior year, I did a 3-month independent study in India, and caught the travel bug big-time. When I left Santa Cruz, I got a job with American Airlines as a Flight Attendant, living in Dallas, Boston, New York City, LA,
San Francisco, and now Salt Lake City. 36 years later, I am still with AA, now as an International Purser. I commute from Salt Lake to Chicago, where I am based, and I fly to Europe or Asia 3 or 4 times a month.

f times, studying art history and science. After attending an interior design school in the 80s, I worked in that field for a few years. I also co-owned and ran a restaurant for a few years.
I have been married for 30 years, and have a 28-yr-old daughter, my greatest joy. My key to successful parenting was to ALWAYS remember what it felt like to be 3, or 7, or 12 or 15. And when I heard things come out of my mouth that I hated hearing as a kid, I would rethink, apologize if necessary, and restate my own opinions.
