Candace's Story

Life Well, since a few people remember me enough to check out my profile, I guess I should leave some info. I went to WSU after hischool. Then moved to California, worked as a typesetter at EPSON, got married in the late 1980s, had a son (now 16), moved to Oregon, got a divorce, and am now trying to regroup. I'm working as a dental assistant and (this year) am a lacrosse mom. (What's lacrosse?) Oh, and I no longer go by "Candy...Expand for more
"; I'm all grown up and Candace now. 2011 -- update; basicly the same but son is now 21, a Math major at Oregon State and is playing soccer again but not lacrosse at the moment. Looking forward to seeing some of you at the Reunion in October. 2021 -- update: I am now a mother-in-law to a Math professor and grandma to an energetic four year old. I'm retired, not enjoying the pandemic BUT happy that it's running out of steam!

My mother used to sell newspapers and magazines to this handsome man! My mom touch his hand.
This handsome young man is Martim Gomes Silva. I don't know him but I was working on my genealogy and found his picture and realized that he is named after an ancestor of mine. Obviously, he has some very handsome genes.
