Candace's Story

Candace's schools include Bay View High School. After high school, went to Northwestern University and ended up majoring in art education. Taught for a few years after that. Got married; moved to Syracuse NY and taught elementary art in a suburb of Syracuse. Decided to go to graduate school and got an assistantship to complete my masters in instructional design and evaluation at Syracuse. 3 years at which time I moved to Lafayette IN. Lived there for 8 years and had one child. Decided to get my Ph.D. at Purdue again on an assistantship. Moved to Chicago where we lived for about 24 years; worked for a variety of companies there including Bell Labs, McDonalds Corporation and then went on my own as a consultant. Moved to PA to be closer to my daughter's family and granddaughter. Have been an outside consultant for almost 18 years and slowly cutting back on that as I refocus on art again.
