Candes's Story
After high school I went to dental assisting school and worked for a dentist and orthodontist in Perris. I got married to Mario Herrera in 1982 and moved to San Jose for about 6 months. Moved back home and worked for Stater Bros. for 3 years. I had 3 children Chase 21, Lauren 20 and Jacklyn 16.
I was divorced in 1998. I was in college at the time studying to become a teacher. I quit school to raise my children and became a daycare provider. It has been wonderful. I had my children at home with me plus I got to teach. I have a large daycare right now and see 12 childr...Expand for more
en a day. My daughter Lauren is my assistant and is in college at night. My son Chase goes to Musicians institute in Hollywood. He designs and makes electric guitars. My daughter Jacklyn is in High school. She helps out with the daycare also.
Life is great. I am very active with my church. I have suffered a lot of loss. My marriage, my dad, mom and sister. I had a scare 2 years ago when I was going numb from my chest down. I ended up having tumors that wrapped around my spine. Two surgeries later....I am back to normal. (kind of... LOL) I have a lot to be thankful for!
