Life I have four wonderful children three boys (men now actually) Douglas, 41, works as a heating and refrigeration Technician, and is married to Traci, the mother of my beautiful granddaughter Laura is 15 years old, and Cutie Christopher 18 years old), Michael 37, a bio-chemical engineer,and Jimmy 28, recently received a CDL license and is a cross country truck driver, and one daughter, Elesha 29, her education majors (two) Corporate Law and Corporate Accounting, is married to Ryan. Elesha has two wonderful adorable sons, and one beatiful baby girl, Samantha. (my grandbabies) Robert Tristan is six and Daniel is four and Samantha will be one in feb. I also have two really fabulous step-daughters, Dominique and Kaila, Dominique, 27, is attending college to be a Science Teacher, and Kaila 23, Kaila has a beautiful abby girl named Alaina, she was one in Sept. Their dad passed away, but they are still very much a part of my life. In 1983, and as a single Mom, I joined the Navy, to do just 'one enlistment.' Here I am 25 years later, retired from active duty. My tours included Haverfordwest, South Wales, UK; Keflavik, Iceland; Rota, Spain; Catania, Siciliy; Whidbey Island, WA; Adak, AK; Ford Is, HI; Virginia Beach, VA (twice! one to Dam Neck Training Center and once to NAS Oceana); Marine Air Craft Group 26, at MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC (saw way to much action while I was there! including Guantanimo Bay, Operation Sea Signal; Bosnia; Ethiopia; and one Med cruise!) then to The Marine Corps Memorial Chapel at MCAS New River; on to Diego Garcia, BIOT; and finally to Navy Recruiting District San Francisco!
