Candy's Story

Life My girls and I live in North Carolina because it's more beautiful than Indiana. I figure we'll stay till my youngest goes to high school. When my oldest chooses a college we'll find a new state. Or maybe just hang out. Who knows. The people down here are very friendly, even the ones from the north. They are like me, they say northerners are rude and pushy and think their stuff don't stink, but I got news for you, it all comes outta the same hole. We live on the top floor of a beautiful apartment building and I still have my car that the tree fell on for $50 I bought 3 years ago. She's lookin good and runs like a top. Tawanda!!! I am still working at Dashing Diva Nail Spa & Boutique and I love it. You should look it up.I decided that I didn't want to be my own boss right now so I have taken time away from doing hair for now. I have enough with my girls' and mine to do everyday. Maintenance. I am registering for the spring semester at Catawba Valley Community College to pursue my drafting career. One stepping stone at a time, I always say. I plan on having my degree within 3.5. Full-time mom, full-time job, part-time education. Right? Somebodies gotta do it since there are so many dead beat daddies out th...Expand for more
ere. Holla! Ya'll remember him don't ya? Gotta love 'em. I'm very happy to say, he's somebody elses problem now. I am still single since 2001 and I tell myself what to do, I answer to myself, I love myself, and I make sure my beautiful, intelligent, loving, affectionate, daughters have everything they need and want. They do look happy don't they? It ain't easy don't let me fool ya, but it's what I am suppose to do because God wants me to do right by them. I wish we could have known back in the days of school what we have learned by now. I'm sorry for the losses that everyone has been through, even the ones who don't like me. No one deserves that kind of pain, especially if it's your child. I'm sorry for people I might have said something hateful to or about. Words can hurt, and I have had to forgive others myself. I am glaad for the healthy happy ex-classmates of mine and I'm sorry for the ones we have lost over the years. I wish things might have turned out differently sometimes. But we are led down the paths we chose, Right? No looking Back. Maybe, once. I wish everyone the best and go for dreams. Don't let anyone get in your way except God. That's all we need. God Bless You All and Thank You! Candy Clock
