Cara's Story
I am happlily married to my post high school sweethart Guy Thompson, Madison Senator class of 86. We have a beautiful daughter who will turn 18 this month. She'll graduate this spring from Lake Oswego High and then is off to college. Guy and I are both long time bankers. We have a dachshund named Karl who rules our lives now that Maggie (our daughter) is focused on other things. For fun we enjoy spending quiet time with our friends and our extended family. wego where we have been for 12 years now. Guy takes amazing care of the gardens and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We like to go camping and fishing (catch and release of course) and we love to just take walks in and around Lake O and Portland with Karl in tow. We both enjoy going out to eat. These days we have been totally engrossed in the election - we have been Obama supporters since we first read about him a couple of years ago. We find ourselves concerned about the financial crisis, the environment, and a variety of social issues that sometimes feel very close to home. We are both looking forward to seeing old friends.
