Cardiff's Story
I left Brooklyn to go to college in DC and returned for four years working with the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control at the Fort Greene Health Center on Flatbush. Then I got transfered to Baltimore for 4 years, on to New Jersey for another 4 years, then on to Massachussetts for 2 years. Then I got a position in Atlanta (headquarters for the CDC) and stayed there for 3 years until I landed an assignment in Jamaica (West Indies) for...Expand for more
2 years. I came back to Atlanta for 2 years and then I worked in Nigeria (West Africa) up through 2005. This year I am beginning my last assignment before retirement for 2-4 years in Haiti (oh boy!!) and then I plan to come back to the Atlanta area. So, as you can see, i'm the kid from Brooklyn who got to see and live all over the place. Its been a great experience but no matter where I've been, there is no place like good ole Brooklyn.
