t Carl:"Pastor Colston came to know God at a young age. Pastor has always been a leader. In his Junior and Senior year of 1973 and 1974, he was voted President of the Black Student Union at Riverside High School. He was an activist for Civil Rights! He continued on to the University of Buffalo, majoring in Computer Science. In February 1976, God ordered his steps into the United States Marine Corps. He served with Honorable Service For 20 years and eight months. Pastor Colston has spent most of his life laying down his life for others and his country! And now God has called him to lay down his life for his LORD and His Savior, Jesus Christ. He is truly an Unsung Hero. He is truly Worthy of Double Honors!Pastor Colston is committed to Family Development and Empowerment! He was licensed to preach in 1993 and ordained in 1998. He later moved to Houston, Texas where he furthered his education in Seminary School at the College of Biblical Studies. Since January 1999 to the present time, Pastor Colston has served as Pastor/ Founder, Shepherd, Visionary Leader, Evangelist, Teacher, Prophet, and Mentor at True Love Missionary Baptist Church!Pastor Colston is an anointed man of God, a man after God’s own heart, a preacher with the passion of Paul. He is also one who has the uncompromising integrity of Job and the preaching of the prophet Elijah!".
