Carl's Story
Life
Since leaving Calhoun in 1987, I tried and failled to attend college at suny delhi in the fall of 1987. Hey I was 18 and i knew everything right? Well i worked every low paying job i could find for the next year and a half.
After attending a party for timmy metzger after he graduated from MARINE CORPS. boot camp. I decided to take a swing at the MARINES. Entered the MARINES in march of 1989. Got my head shaved moved to north carolina and bam. Carl was a marine. The marines seemed like a good fit. I was in shape. clean cut, and I had a purpose. Summer of 1990 I found myself in the hospital with a chipped bone in my left ankel. Two surgeries later and the marines were done with me. Medical seperation was the term. But I am now a disabled veteran. Witch means I can have vet plates and good parking spaces. (just kidding)
Exit the MARINES. Now what. I know i'll go back to delhi and finish school. Graduated suny delhi. class of 1994, AOS in automotive tech. Now the fun starts. worked for bast chevy, habberstad nissan, shore buick, morrisey ...Expand for more
pontiac,shore buick again, the town of hempsted, green island tree care,scully's plumbering, ah I know I'll start my own sprinkler company. NOT!
I landed feet first working for C AND L plumbing supply. I currently work as a driver for them and have since 2001. I was also able to start up and run a side bussiness doing a sorts of plumbing all over long island.
As for my love life. High school girlfriend didn't work out. dated on and off for a number of years. I got married in 1998 to my girlfriend of 4 years. That lasted almost less than a year. Divorced in 2000. Met Joann in 2003 at a country bar in deer park (yea i know heavy metal carl in a country bar ha ha) Got married in a small mountain top ceremony at the top of mount snow vt. I have been married since march of 2004. No kids at this moment.
I currenty reside in islip, new york, I really don't talk to many of the people I went to school with. I had a tight group in brookside but Calhoun seemed to break us all apart. I would like that to change though. so hey drop me a line.
