Life Enlisted in the Air Force in April of 78.when I turned 17. Entered active duty Oct 78 completed basic training and was given a direct duty assignment to Edwards AFB Cal. Completed my 5 Skill level training as Certified Aircraft Welder. Was lacking two specific credits to complete High School. Enrolled at Siroccos Community College and returned to Maryland with my transcripts in time to graduated with my class. Unfortunately I was not around to get my picture in the year book . In 1980 volunteered for a remote assignment to Kusan AB Korea. returning with a follow on assignment to McGuire AFB NJ. Made it through a short a terrible marriage to an active duty in a career field close to mine. With no intention to get involved again, I moved off base with two friends . Inadvertently becoming the neighbor of the Love of my life, my wife of 38 years. Left active duty for a short time to return as an Air Reserve Technician with the 514 Maintenance Squadron. NCOIC of Metals Technology and the Work Group Manager (IM) for my squadron. from there I worked as the Client Service Administrator for the Maintenance Group then moved into the Wing Information Assurance Officer for six years and then Network Manager for the 514 Air Mobility Wing. Both of my boys completed nursing school and my youngest daughter has become a teacher and gotten married. My wife has completed her life from a working single mom as a hospital secretary to a Registered Nurse with a Master in Nursing Informatics and was employed by Debora Heart and Lung as a research nurse. She is now retired a watches her grandchildren Retired from the USAFR. with 33 plus years. Retired from civils service with 41 and a half years.
