Carl's Story
After graduating I joined U.S. Air Force and spent 22 years in Air Force. I was station overseas 1 year in Korea 1 year in Vietnam and 12 years in Philippines and my first wife was from Philippines. I retired in Las Vegas and worked as teamsters doing convention work for 9 years. In 1992 in enrolled in UNLV and graduated in 1994 with BA in Social Work. I met my second wife and moved to San Diego in September of 1994. I got a job as teacher aid and enjoyed working with kids and went back to school and received my teaching credential and have been working as a substitute teacher for 23 years. classes with Religious Science and received Ministry license and worked as volunteer Chaplain and also received Doctorate in Religious Studies. My second wife passed away Nov 2011. Since than I’ve continued teaching and working as a volunteer in a local hospital emergency room. In 2018I went on a 15 day Viking River Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest with my older brother and in 2019 we went on cruise from St Petersburg to Moscow. About a month later my brother passed away.
