Carl's Story

I married Patty (Adams) Gaspar two years after graduation. We raised two beautiful daughters and have four great grandchildren. After graduation I attended CSU but dropped joining the Air Force in 1966 where we were stationed at Vandenberg AFB in California. I was a Titan II ICBM mechanic. I was fortunate to be able to continue college at Chapman University in Orange CA where I managed to combine my CSU credits and what I earned in the Air Force and earn a BA in Economics. ttended graduate school with daughter Denise and we both received our MBA's from CU. I spent thirty eight years in the property and casualty business. I formed Gaspar-Jones & Associates, Inc in the 70's and sold the firm to a younger competitor in 2008. Patty and I have and continue to travel the world, truly our passion. I enjoy reading, woodworking, bad golf, and bike riding. I also hold court at the neighborhood Starbucks most mornings. Patty and I enjoy great health and life is great!
