Carl's Story
Life
Graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985. Married same year to Kristin Louise Boardman and commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant of Infantry in the Army. Served in a variety of infantry assingments in Mainz Germany, Fort Ord California and Ranger Training Brigade, Fort Benning Georgia and XVIII Airborne Corps, and several Special Operations Assignments at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. 10). Currently a Lieutenant Colonel and commanding the 9th Psychological Operations Battalion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Veteran of Operation Assured Response in Liberia and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. Wife Kristin was commissioned an Army Nurse upon graduation from Emory University. Graduated with her Masters of Science as a Nurse Practitioner from University of Florida in 1995. She is currently a Lieutenant Colonel and assigned as a the Head Nurse at Clark Clinic Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
