Carla's Story
I met my future husband while living at Ft. Lewis. Dated him while attending CPHS. He was in the service, we married in 1964. Ended up in Virginia, his home state. (My home town is Hannibal, MO. I attended school there before starting high school). We had 2 children. Yes, there are grandchildren and great grandchildren too! Stay at home mom for a number of years. Further education in bookkeeping/clerk typist/business law. Was even doing homework in the bleachers at our kids sport events! Department, Brunswick Defense during 1st Gulf War, then TRW until I retired. These days I belong to a couple of Senior Centers and help serving meals and cleaning up -- sometimes I call Bingo. Still LOVE music and dancing!! I incorporate exercising into dancing --- Dancercize, usually to the oldies and music from the 80's. Anyway, just a brief history since graduating Have been singing, and dancing, with our Country/Gospel band for several years now. Love performing, especially at nursing homes and churches, community centers and the Tennessee Welcome Center....................................
