Carla's Story
Now that the kids are grown, I'm branching out. I'd always wanted to write a novel, so I did. What a learning curve! It's taken six years, from the germ of the idea to the finished book, From Here to Everlasting. Now it's out, and I have to learn about marketing and publicity. One thing does, as they say, lead to another.
I'm also working on other writing projects. One book is based on a true story, and I'm writing it ...Expand for more
with a friend. It'll be a page turner, about my friend's incredibly abusing childhood, and how she managed to forgive and go on with her life.
I'm also working on a non-fiction 'primer' for caregivers. It'll be written in a conversational style, and offer information other sources don't. I want to educate people about their options in long term care, celebrate successes, and motivate those not up to standards to improve!
