Carla's Story

Greeting to all! Hope everyone is happy healthy and well. I'm not sure when we last saw or spoke to each other. So here goes...I left Seattle to work at the Grand Canyon in 1995, and fell in love with a different kind of outdoors than the northwest. If you haven't been to the Grand Canyon... Go! it's amazing. I meet several great people there who were talking about going to Alaska to work in Denali National Park for the summer. I jumped on board, and have been living in Alaska ever since. Life is great here I love it. It's so huge, magnificent and wonderful...Expand for more
. I live 5 minutes from the slopes. Fishing, Hiking and camping are everywhere. Music festivals all summer long. The Northern Lights, and a white Christmas in the winter. Not to mention the view in our neighborhood is spectacular. I'm happily in love, and have a 4 month old puppy named Jaxson. He keeps me busy everyday. He hasn't seen a summer here yet, I can't wait. Life is good. I got no real complaints. I enjoy visiting friends and family in Seattle. I still think that it's the most beautiful city, in he world on a sunny day. Peace and Joy Carla Abeyta
