Carla's Story
Since High School, I attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL and graduated with a BA in Accounting. I worked in Chicago for several years, first as a field auditor and accountant for a Health, Welfare and Pension Fund, then as a Budget Analyst for the Chicago Transit Authority, and then an accountant for a Machine Tool manufacturer. Finally, I went to work for an Environmental Consulting Firm and 15 years later am still working for the same firm. WI for awhile and owning and operating 2 different bars with my first husband. Most recently, I stepped down from the Controller position in order to move with my second husband to north west Tennessee where we own and operate a truck repair facility and service station. I still telecommute to my office in Chicago full time and do the accounting for our business on the side.
We enjoy travelling and have a Class C Motorhome. We take a trip on average about once a month - but some of these serve as business trips as well.
