Carla Dennis:  

I remember a lot about Rio Linda California. It was a great place to grow up. My life started in Jacksonville Arkansas. I loved the outdoors. I could ride horses. I jogged on country roads. I was fascinated with the chickens and ducks and rabbits. Biology excited me. And, I dreamed about my future husband. I went through my high school years majoring in James Dennis. I wrote his name on my papers so many times I am surprised the teachers knew whose papers they were. James and I married in June of 1978 and moved to Dallas, Texas. I had to think about what I was going to do next. James has always been honest and encouraging. I finished a two-year degree in five years while working full time drafting at Texas Instruments. We decided it was time to start a family and had Billy in 1985. We agreed I should stay home with the baby and using natural planning Luke and Catherine followed. I started back to school when Catherine started kindergarten and got a second two year degree then went to Texas A & M University where I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in 1999. After this I returned to work full time as a Project Manager. We haven't had much money but I have had a wonderful life so far. I have never been lonely, always felt loved.
