Carlene's Story

Following my days at La Serna, I graduated from Cal State University at Fullerton and earned a lifetime teaching credential. I taught school in Brea, married in 1971 and have 3 kids (2 daughters and 1 son). Our kids have now married and we have 9 grandchildren (5 girls and 4 boys). I love being a grandma!!! My husband is currently self-employed as a construction expert witness...Expand for more
. I substitute teach when I have free time. Our family, home, church, travel and friends keep me busy. I love the beach, mountains, outdoor activities, cooking, entertaining and gardening. Travel at this time in our lives has been awesome with many new adventures. We left Orange County in 2013 and moved to Fresno to be closer to family (4 grandkids here!) and also the mountains!
