After Hope High School I attended Virginia State College..which is now Virginia State University...majored in Special Education and graduated 4 years later with a BS degree in sped.. I got my first job as a teacher where I did my student teaching at the Petersburg Training Center in Petersburg, Virginia...which was an institution for children who people thought were unteac...Expand for more
hable..WRONG... everyone can learn something new..large or small..after 5 years I moved on to Richmond, VA. where I recently retired after 38 years of teaching children with special needs.. preschool inclusion was my last age group in a general education setting...inclusion. Being a HHS graduate taught me about diversity and how to stand up for what is right..#bluewave4ever
