Getting ready for our 50th Renuion. Looks like I need to update this. As of 4/2024, I have a split life. I am the NEPA Director for the Great Basin Institute whose main office is in Reno, Nevada. I keep an eye out for the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Federal Agencies that protect it. I live on an island in the California Delta. Most of my work is remote but I do have to visit the mountains from time to time. Wow in the 50 years since living La Serna, I got a BA from Whittier College in Political Science and Geology. Then got a Law Degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane WA('81). Came back to SoCal, got a job with the Irvine Company, passed the bar, and worked in LA, Ventura, and Santa Barbara. I was appointed a commissioner in SB. Became president of a Real Estate Development company. I married Denise Cabral while in Santa Barbara ('98) we adopted two beautiful children. A girl who was born in January 2000, a millennium baby, and a boy born in 2002. We moved to Solvang and ended up splitting up.
