Life
In September 1976 I married and in October of the same year I joined the US Air Force. After Air Force Basic training and Technical training to be an aircraft mechanic I was assigned to Plattsburgh AFB in upstate New York. In April 1977 my oldest son was born. ing as a C-130 Flight Engineer. In September 1984 I married a beautiful woman and we are still together. In July of 1985 we were assigned to Little Rock AFB, AR were I was an Instructor Flight Engineer. In March 1989 my first daughter was born. In November 1989 my family and I were reassigned to Pope AFB, NC just in time for me to go to Panama for Operation Just Cause. Then in August I was sent to Oman for Operation Desert Shield. I was only able to spend a little over 30 days there because of some medical problems that forced me to leave. In Febuary 1994 my youngest daughter was born. I retired from active duty in November 1996 after 20 years. I now teach C-130 Simulator refresher to Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard Pilots and Flight Engineers in Atlanta, Ga.
