Carmela's Story
Life
I knew after graduating high school I wanted to be a teacher. So after working as a substitute teacher I realized this was not my calling. I wanted to work in the medical field. So, I decided to go to Webster College where I received a certificate for Medical Assistant. Going to school for a year then getting a job as an MA I realized, there was no money being made as an MA. So, I decided to go to CFCC to obtain my Nursing License. I met my husband Matt in a Dental office in Ocala where I worked as a Secretary before attending nursing school. Matt is an Orthodontist. He decided to move to Tampa to open up his practices. While I was attending college he was in Tampa. After many years of dating, we decided to marry. s in Tampa, where we are now living, before we married Dec.1, 2001. I have been working for a Cardiology group as a Cardiology nurse for over seven years and loving yet. We own a beautiful home in the New Tampa area. We don't have any children yet, but hopefully soon.
Workplace
I always thought when I graduated high school I wanted to be a teacher. While I was attending college I was a substitute teacher for different schools in Ocala. I am very happy to say that when we were in school we had respect for our subs. Now a days well......Then I decided to become a nurse. I really enjoy working in the cardiology field. I do a lot in the office as much as a nurse would do in a hospital. It is very rewarding to know that I am helping a lot of people out there who need help.
