Carmen's Story
After High School, I attended Nassau Community College at age 16 and had to go back to the High School for working papers. Not happy with that situation I eventually worked in Garden City in advertising, then Old Country Road in insurance. was now a degreed individual and the world was my oyster - ya think?
Changing Corporate America is challenging if not a bit frustrating. The telephone company in New York and California (I loved living there), along with the insurance industry in New Mexico and Arizona found out; if nothing else, I am a persistent individual. I might add, people from the southwest are not entirely in love with New Yorkers. Be that as it may, when 911 hit, I lived in Arizona but my heart was with the Apple. . I have one daughter - who has Cleo (the cat) who loves his younger brother Ducati (the dog). I retired at 57, moved back to New Mexico to assist my parents who now reside in Heaven. They are truly missed. .
Well they asked for a story - this is mine and I hope there will be more. Hope I didn't bore anyone.
