Carmen's Story
OK - not too lucky in the men department - on Husband #3. But this one's lasted for almost 14 years, so there's hope. I helped him raise his daughter who's now 21.
Retired from the Air Force at Hurlburt Field, Florida as a lieutenant colonel in 1998. Mom died soon after in CO, followed by my dad developing a brain disease. So I've had him since the funeral in Florida where I retired. Am a full-time caregiver now.

in 1979 in Business Personnel Mgt while on active duty. Went back to school in 2001 and finished a Journalism degree in 2003. Ran the University of West Florida newspaper for a year, then worked locally in the beach town of Navarre where we live for about 1.5 years until I had to quit with my father's health issues. He is 24/7 care. It takes both my husband (Kris) and myself to keep the house going. We have folks here 24/7. Gets very expensive.
I long for a return to the carefree days of old high school.
