Carmen's Story
Well it's been a long road to get where I am. When I graduated HS I really didn't know. Instead I partied, got stupid, danced two years of my life away at clubs, then came my first child. Beautiful girl! Parenting was hard at first until I actually listened to my own parents to let them help and releive me when I needed it. Now almost 18 years later she has already graduated with her GED and is now looking into going to college to become a counselor. I'm so proud of her!

Thats when I decided that school was the right thing for me to help not only myself but other children with special needs and the parents of these exceptional children. I was able to gain experience through the state, then through school and a wonderful teacher, and through work experience when and after my third daughter was born.
It was great to work with special needs children who were included in the general education classrooms.
My life has had a lot of ups and downs and I can't imagine a life without my kids no matter how bratty they can be at times.
