Carmen's Story
Life.
You can still find me in the cleveland phone book. Michelle, my wife, will be celebrating 22 years in August. We have 4 kids, girls 33, engaged; and 31, married, boys 21, junior in college; and 19, college freshman. I've had my Ham Radio (Amateur) License since 1974, I'm still active with Scouting, and Brush High Schools Hockey program. I bought a Honda Shadow recently and love to ride. I like to swim, read, play cards. Play a little guitar, slowly teaching myself piano. Now its time for me to learn Italian.
School
Per the prompter here on the screen, John Hall and Mike Papouras made the biggest impact on me. They both helped me grow through the years. Then again, wrestling and working the stage were the best years. I ended up as wrestling ref for over 10 years between Virginia and Ohio before my knees told me to give it up.
College

years to get through Lakeland. I started almost 10 years after graduation and finished in 1988. Don't do that.
I'm back to school for my SQL Server 2005 DBA Certification.
Workplace
Hopefully when you read this I'm working in the IT field as a SQL Server DBA.
Military
Served in the U.S. Navy from Jan 73 to Dec 76. Stationed in Washington DC as a computer operator at the Old Executive Office Building next to the White House. Great duty. Met a lot of great people. Names like Nixon, Ford, Rockefeller, Kissenger all signed my paycheck. Saw them all but don't remember being on any kind of first name basis with them. I do have Ford's signature, Nixon's signed autograph after his resignation, and rode the elevator once with VP Rockefeller. Does that count? Then served another 6 years in the Navy Reserves here in Cleveland, finishing up as a enlisted DP1 (E-6).
