Have 2 kids, a daughter, Shiona born in '79, now married & in the Air Force (3 kids - 2 boys and a girl), and a son, Shane, born in '82 working for Fort Knox Gold mine in Fairbanks (1 daughter and 1 step-daughter). Both kids were born in Heidelberg, Germany.
Have lived in North Carolina, Germany, California, Georgia, South Korea and our favorite - Alaska - where we did 3 tours and a total of 12 years. Got an AA in '84 from Monterey Peninsula College, a BS in '92 from Wayland Baptist University. Living in a little community called North Pole, just outside of Fairbanks, in the interior of Alaska.

civilian for 1 year to Kabul, Afghanistan in Oct 2010 to run a dining facility for the Corps of Engineers. Deployed again in September 2019 for 15 months as the Food Program Manager at Kandahar Airfield. Retired for the second time April 2023 as the Food Program Manager for Interior Alaska, covering Fort Wainwright and Fort Greeley.
Enjoy traveling with my husband, we have been on several cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal and most recently New Zealand from Australia. Visited Germany, Guam, Australia, Spain and England with our daughter and her family. Visited China when I was stationed in Korea and went again with Meyer family when oldest grandchild graduated from high school in Japan - we all did an awesome week in China. We did most of our travel in the dead of the Alaska winter, now that we are both fully retired we are traveling south for the winters in our RV.
