Carol's Story
Since graduating from high school, I have worked in corporate offices as a supervisor, executive assistant, meeting and event planner, and customer service representative.
Most of my working years were spent at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Fisons. Both companies offered very pleasurable experiences, and I enjoyed numerous lasting friendships there.
From kindergarten through the fifth grade, I attended the Brown School on Willow Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts. My interactions with schoolmates and teachers evoke many fond memories. During the winter, we went sledding down Powder House Park hill and ice skating at Trum Field near Ball Square. When I was five, Ma would send me to the library in Davis Square alone to read some books. Being a very independent Taurus, I would cross the railroad tracks and go to the candlepin bowling alley instead. Those were fun times.
In 1961, my family moved to Kensington Avenue (off of Russell Street) in the West Side of Woburn. It was quite a transformation moving from the crowded inner city of Somerville to the spacious suburbs of Woburn. My teen years were spent hanging out with friends in their Robinson Road neighborhood. On the weekends, I often visit...Expand for more
ed Harvard Square. While there, people would follow me and ask for my autograph, thinking that I was Maria Muldaur. I wish! She has an amazing voice!
My favorite interests are music, dancing, and comedy clubs. I have been to at least 200 concerts and have seen the Beatles twice (met Ringo Starr), Jimi Hendrix (twice), Orleans, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton (he personally serenaded me at The Boston Tea Party venue), The Kinks, Who, Heart, The Rolling Stones, Rufus with Chaka Khan, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Chuck Berry, David Bowie, Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, Chris Isaak, Amos Lee, Jeff Beck, YES, Buddy Miles, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Stone Temple Pilots, Chicago, The Black Crowes, Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke with Flora Purim, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Robert Randolph and his Family Band, Bryan Adams, Trini Lopez, The Beach Boys, Donovan, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Wings, Mountain, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chuck Prophet, Aimee Mann, The Temptations, Buzzy Linhart, Ten Years After with Alvin Lee, Ryan Adams, Buddy Guy, Stevie Winwood and Traffic, Rick Wakeman, etc. etc.
Life is good and very precious! I hope that all of you are enjoying excellent health, extreme happiness, and dreams coming true!!
