Carol's Story
Life
My Spouse:
We met while I was working at Bud's. He was living in Mount Sterling and working for the Kentucky Department of Ag. We married on June 1, 1985.
My Son:
Stephen Vaughn Carney was born 12/27/95 after Larry and I had been married 10 years! He is, and WILL BE the ONE and ONLY!! (Not by choice!)
My Job:
I teach high school special education students with mild to moderate disabilities. I taught 12 years at Harrodsburg High School, from 1991 to 2003. I now teach at Danville High School where I am the Department Head for Special Education.

Workplace
Teaching students who have learning and/or behavior problems is challenging, yet rewarding. The worst part is the tremendous amount of paperwork that is required for each student. I worked at Harrodsburg High School for 12 years. I now teach at Danville High School and I am the Special Education Department Chair. It is a great place for me to teach and has been very rewarding. I have made some lifelong friendships during the years that I have been here. I look forward to being there many more years to come!!!
