Carol's Story
In August, I'll be married 47 years to Bob Wells who I met at Brockport College.See photos of my brothers and sisters(5/7 went to Arcadia).(Carol, Chuck, Nancy , Ed and Clark Chippero.) and Marge and Cathie won scholarships to Cardinal Mooney. We have one daughter, Lindsay, 38, who met her husband Jonathan Kranz at Brockport College. They were both teachers in Florida for 3 years(2006-2009) and have come home but now live in Buffalo:) Lindsay taught K-5 Art teacher at Fruitland Park Elementary School. Jon taught 6th-8th grade Math and Math honor classes. Lindsay is the School Tour Guide Coordinator and Docent Coordinator in the Education Dept. at the Albright-Knox Art Museum and Jon now owns his own business. They're renovating a 1820's home.
I taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade for 20 years at Northstar Christian Academy and received my Masters from Nazareth.
Since 2000, I've substituted in Greece for Speech & Hearing, Reading(4 years part time at English Village School) and Elementary teachers. Since 2003, I've also co-coordinated the Accelerated Reader Program after school at the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester. I read with and tutor the members daily.Oct-May
.It's quite the rewarding job! The members read 13,254 in 2013 and I retired that November. Mike Green, DA(now Sandra Dorley), secures grants for us and he/she hands out special certificates to the children who read over 100 books that year and they still honor the Top 12 readers. Joe Robach helped secure a rock climbing wall in our gym. We trained other people to take over. Since retiring, we(my husband) travel 6-9 weeks in the winter.
Our nephew Todd Wells was going to his 3rd Olym...Expand for more

Never a dull moment!
I would like to see Mrs. McCumber(sp?) again. She was always so much fun on Business Club trips, etc. I remember when she rode down suicide hill at Durand on a toboggan with us. I miss Bonnie McCormick Sluman(class of 69). She was my Maid of Honor and one of my best friends that passed away when she was 34.(a year after my daughter was born.) I miss Betsy Chenappi & Bonnie Blanqui and all my friends.
My brothers are Chuck, Ed and Clark Chippero(see photo 10,11) and my sisters are Marge ,Cathie & Nancy.
